My research focuses on Computer Networks and Internet Measurement. In Internet Measurement, we collect, analyze, and share data to better understand how the internet works, how it's used, and how it evolves. At Thompson Rivers University, I teach courses on cloud computing, web application development, and Internet security.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Calgary (2017 - 2021). Previously, I was a teaching faculty member at the Payame Noor University, Tehran, Iran (2012 - 2017).
Currently, I am investigating integrated path selection and congestion control mechanisms to enhance the performance and stability of Multipath QUIC within emerging path-aware network architectures like SCION. Additionally, I collaborate with colleagues in teaching and education on SoTL initiatives to contribute to the development of effective pedagogical approaches for engineering education.
